“Images of Screen Culture: Cinema, Television and the New Media”,

Dear Colleagues!

We are happy to invite you to take part in The 2nd International Online Conference “Images of Screen Culture: Cinema, Television and the New Media” organized by the Department of Screenwriting of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Additional Professional Education “Academy of Media Industry” (Moscow, Russia).

The conference will deal with topical issues of Russian and international screen culture and screen arts and will cover a broad range of aesthetic, thematic and other issues related to strategies of representation in the traditional media (cinema and television) and the new media (social networks, streaming services, media art). The clue idea of the Conference is visual images, their construction, deconstruction, migration and reproduction in screen culture.

-Screen arts in the context of socio-cultural design

TV Series and Screen Culture

-Russian and international TV series: poetics, aesthetics, narration

-TV series – cinema – the new media and the problem of cross-cultural relationships

Screen Culture During the Pandemic

-A Problem of cultural initiatives (projects) in a lockdown

-Strategies for creating cultural and educational content by institutions in a lockdown

 

Languages of the Conference: Russian, English.

 

Participation format: 

Presentations (length – up to15 minutes). 

The 1800-3600-symbol texts (370-770 words) of the theses are to be e-mailed to kinoprocessor@gmail.com (subject: “Images of Screen Culture-2022”) by January 25, 2022.
